How It All Started

I have always had an interest in Astrology, and then later, I picked up Numerology. It always fascinated me how our zodiac signs and astrological transits influenced us as individuals. I met hundreds of people throughout my military career and many I got to know and learn their birthdays. Some interestingly had the same birthday, and I got to see how things influenced or played out for them. After two deployments to Iraq and being Medically Retired from the Army, I dove into completing my Bachelors in Psychology, which I finished just a few months after retiring. I was subsequently accepted into several Masters Programs. I chose to attend the program offered by Pace University in NYC; this was based on the university's history, prestige, and small class sizes. I was transitioning out of the Army and from being a Leader and Logistician to a Psychologist – something I loved doing (Leading and Logistics) to something I've always had an interest in. During my second semester in my Masters Program, I was encouraged by the Psychology Department Chair to apply to the new Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology (Healthcare Emphasis), which would begin in the Fall. I only had one more class to take that coming Fall to complete my Masters Degree requirements. To my surprise, I was accepted into the PhD Program. So that Fall, I took the last class for my Masters while also beginning my journey in the Ph.D. Program.

Just after beginning that Fall Semester, I had some medical issues arise and had to have an invasive surgery during the Spring Semester. Although it frustrated me to have to take time off, I was afforded the opportunity to recover from surgery and focus on myself, my personal healing, health, and growth. It was during this time that I came across Aquarius Maximus' page and learned about Cardology. Cardology just made it all click for me. It tied together my insight and knowledge from Astrology, Numerology, and Tarot in succinct little messages or like chapters in a book. Each Card is the title of a chapter, and each suit is a topic covered by those 13 chapters. So while on my healing hiatus from my Ph.D. Program, I embarked on a journey and learned Cardology. Things have just continued to unfold and open up for me, like the blooming of the thousand-petal lotus. I've been able to help myself and so many others using my gifts, talents, life experiences, and Cardology.
