What is Psycardology?
Psycardology is an amalgam of Psychology and Cardology. I combine my decade of experience in the military as a leader with the knowledge and science of both Psychology and Cardology to provide a unique service of education, structure, and insight for my clients. My services offer answers as well as a place to grow and maneuver through life. Those that encounter me and my energy often learn something that aids them in being initiated, gaining wisdom, or mastering something – this is just the nature of my cards, spiritual and astrological gifts, and my life experiences. I have a Masters Degree in Psychology, focusing on Industrial Organizational (I/O) Psychology. I worked in an I/O capacity in several different leadership positions in the Army prior to earning my Masters Degree; I/O in the sense that I aided and advised Senior Leaders on ways to help their organizations to run more efficiently and effectively, coached, mentored, and trained personnel helping them to progress in their careers, and rehabilitated Soldiers that were deemed incompetent or should be removed – my methods and efforts resulted in a significant increase in efficiency and success rate for both organization and individuals. I am currently halfway through a Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology. My goal is to incorporate all of my talents to best aid my clients in what they want to understand and accomplish in life.

Industrial Organizational (I/O) Psychology is the branch of psychology that focuses on “the scientific study of human behavior in organizations and the workplace.” It examines the interactions of individuals and groups with their workplace and, based on what was observed, provides solutions for the organization to run more efficiently while increasing workplace and employee satisfaction, attitude, career development, and fulfillment. An I/O Psychologist can assist a company or organization with “recruitment, selection and placement, training and development, performance measurement, workplace motivation and reward systems, quality of work life, the structure of work and human factors, organizational development and consumer behavior.”
Cardology enhances the practice of I/O Psychology because it provides an additional in-depth measure to help assess individuals, groups, and the organization. Cardology offers an additional perspective in which the business can best be structured, employees placed, and days and times optimal for operations or specific things to be executed for the most favorable outcome.
“An I/O Psychologist:
- Identifies training and development needs
- Designs and optimizes job and work and quality of work life
- Formulates and implements training programs and evaluates the effectiveness
- Coaches employees
- Develops criteria to evaluate the performance of individuals and organization
- Assesses consumer preferences, customer satisfaction, and market strategies.”
I have over a decade of experience working within organizations, companies, and groups, increasing their operational efficiency and individual employee growth and achievement. I did this in the military at the section (small group), company, battalion, and division levels, and within the academic sector at a private college and university as an intern, extern, and adjunct professor.
